The voice you believe will determine the future you experience!

Today I want us to look at how the scriptural story begins – with conflicting voices. God starts off the story with creation. God said, ‘Let there be light’ – a call. ‘And there was light’ – a response.

We see from the start that God speaks and that His Word demands a response.

Not much later in the story, the devil turned up to speak. The serpent's voice in the garden said: ‘Eat from the tree’ – a call that demanded a response.

There’s a lesson to be learned from the account of Adam and Eve. God’s voice speaks with precision and power, inviting us into life. Opposing voices seek to draw us out of His presence through seduction and deception.

Our response to these voices sets the course of our lives!

Isaiah 55:3 (ESV) says: ‘Hear, that your soul may live.’ This is an invitation for us today! To choose to listen to the truth of God’s Word even when the lies of the enemy seem so believable.
