Preparing for Marriageනියැදිය

Driver’s Vs. Marriage License
Earning a driver’s license is a rigorous process of driving classes and written tests. And don’t forget the hours driving on side roads. Understanding how to navigate a car safely helps protect the well-being of everyone on the road.
But you can get one important license with no qualifications at all: a marriage license. A couple can usually get married with nothing more than a signature. No classes, no preparation, no training. Just two people who hope their feelings will last. Most couples invest more planning into their wedding than they do into the marriage that follows. Is it any wonder the divorce rate is so high?
It can be tough to have a lasting relationship when two people do not understand how to make one work. So if you’re considering getting married, I encourage you to invest some time in premarital counseling to learn how to build a marriage that thrives. After all, marriage is a lifelong commitment. Isn’t it worth putting in a little preparation on the front end?
Lord, You want us to be wise and prepared for marriage, not foolish like the half of the women in Matthew 25. Help my future spouse and me to take seriously how to enjoy a thriving marriage.
