CHANGED! And Changing Still..Sample
A Clear Path
Key Thought
Yesterday, we talked about staying the path. It takes great courage to not be distracted by other people who often try to get us off track. The more we spend time with God and remember His word, the more we have a clear path.
It can be hard to see what's coming around the corners of life. A clear path brings clarity to the road ahead. Sin blocks our view but faith helps us to see - and it helps us to see God. Seeing God in your path is the single most important aspect of travelling this path of life. It is just too easy to take wrong turns when you can't see clearly where you're meant to be going.
I was one time driving up to Sydney from the South Coast. It was night time and foggy. I could hardly see the brake lights of the cars in front of me. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. These experiences don't allow you to relax. It takes every bit of energy and concentration to stay the path. I had ask people to be quiet in the car. I thought I was going to crash at any moment. It was actually an exhausting drive.
I have driven that road many times in my life and I can tell you, when the road is clear, the journey is beautiful. Day or night, with a clear run, I have found myself day dreaming about what God has done in my life, where He is taking me and what He is saying to me at that moment.
A clear path requires many moments in a believer’s life where God is present and communicating. This could be in moments of prayer, maybe worship or just reading His word. Storms come and go.
Storms come and go. When storms come, it's important to slow down and be mindful of His presence and leading. When storms go, it is equally important to be mindful of His presence and direction, no matter how fast you are travelling!
Time To Think
How would I describe my spiritual journey right now? Clear or foggy?
How could I be more mindful of what God is saying to me in this season?
Prayer
Father, You desire to lead me into wide open spaces of Your grace and glory. Thank you for Your protection. Thank you for watching over me. Help me, Lord, to be mindful of Your presence in every season. Show me, through Your word, where to go in my life. Amen.

About this Plan
When we surrender to Jesus He changes us in a moment but we are still being changed everyday to become more like Him. This devotion deals with the everyday, ordinary changes that we all face in becoming more Christ-like. We are changed and changing still.
