Revival - Finding God in a Busy WorldSample
Reviving Strength
I love to sweat it out on the tennis court. I admit I am not the best tennis player, but I try. It's thrilling to run from one end of the court to another just to return a ball with my smashing backhand. Whew! It’s one of the ways I keep fit. During breaks, I would stop to take a swing from an energy drink to keep my energy up. The science behind it is that it strengthens me to keep going, and it works!
We are humans, and we will always have our energy level drop as we engage in our daily routines, irrespective of how tasking it may be. Sometimes we may be so fatigued that figuring out our next step becomes an odious task. At this stage, it is obvious we need help if we must be productive, and this is where the Holy Spirit, our helper, comes to bear.
Life will demand that we continue at a certain pace, but we are nothing but frail beings who need reviving strength to keep going. God’s promise to us is that we can do all things through Him because He is our strength. We are already guaranteed this continuous wave of strength, so all we have to do is ask and be thirsty for it, and we will be given a boost.
One person who understood this was Samson, who decided in one of his most vulnerable moments to ask God for strength, and God did not hold back on him.
Why don’t you take a break and ask God for reviving strength today? He will definitely come through for you.

About this Plan
What about Revival? Have you tried going the whole day without drinking water, especially during a hot sunny day when you had to be outdoors for hours? I bet at some point, you became so parched that all you could think of was getting your hands on a glass of ice-cold water. The relief is almost magical because you suddenly feel refreshed and alive. This is what revival is, and that is why it is an important part of our lives.
