[Uniqueness of Christ] Jesus' Unique Reality

DAY 1 OF 3

He Existed Before Time

Did you know that no other religion in the past nor today claims what the Bible or Jesus Himself declares regarding Jesus' eternal existence? Many things in the Bible give us a glimpse of Christ's uniqueness—His miraculous birth, the prophecies fulfilled about His coming, and His exaltation that transcends time and space.

We live in a time where the lies and the schemes of the enemy run free and many people search for truth, hope, and peace everywhere and in all the wrong places. We know, without a doubt, that these things can only be found in Jesus Christ.

People constantly search for truth, hope, and peace everywhere but in all the wrong places. This is because we live in a time and age where lies and the enemy's schemes run free. Remember that, without a doubt, all these things people look for can only be found in Christ.

No one who ever existed—past, present, or future—is like Christ. There is just none like Him!

We find a new level of confidence in Him that we cannot find in anyone else. Jesus Christ is unique because of who He is, His relationships, what He claimed about Himself, what the Bible says about Him, and His effect on the world.

Christ existed before time began. The Bible tells us in the book of John that He was the Word; He was God Himself; He was with God; everything was made through Him; He is the Source of all created things; He was, He is, and He is to come; He is eternal; He is past, present, and future; He is the Alpha and the Omega.

Jesus is referenced in the Bible as the Word—the Greek word "Logos." It refers to an internal idea that remains invisible until it is expressed. Jesus Christ is the visible image of the invisible God and the manifestation on earth of who God is.

The Bible also says that Jesus made claims about Himself that no other living person could ever make. He said He was "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). He said He was going to prepare a place for us at His Father's house (John 14:2–3).

Nowadays, the world is filled with people who make claims and promises but can never back them up.

However, Jesus only speaks the truth. We can have complete confidence that Jesus is who He says He is. He not only claimed things, but He also did them. Jesus backed up every claim He ever made about Himself.

In a world of uncertainty, we can trust Him and His unique reality!

Do I ever think about who Jesus is in all His fullness? Do I see Him as the One who existed before time and created it all? How does knowing about Jesus Christ's unique reality affect my perception of Him?
