Have you ever unpacked a new toy or device and been a little confused by all the extra bits they include in the box? Did you think, 'What do I need that thing for?!'

In Aethasia, the Scarlet Man drops you off in the Snowmoors with some curious objects and no idea what they are for. It would be easy to make assumptions, or to think that they were useless. What do you think they could mean? Would it be better to be able to get rid of them, or wait and see what happens?

Something to think about while you are reading today’s passage:

Joseph was given dreams, but no instructions about what they were for. He might have been a bit hasty, telling everyone about them. What would you have done? Think about the different responses here: Joseph's enthusiasm, his brother's jealousy, and his father's careful reflection. Which response would you most likely have?
