ReroutingSample
When we don’t know where to begin, one of the first things we typically do is look for directions. Directions not only give us the confidence to move ahead, but they act as a guide when we come up against complications or misunderstandings. Those directions show us where we need to go and what we need to do to get where we’re trying to go. Wouldn’t it be great for us to have directions like that in our lives? To have a set of instructions to guide us through difficult situations? To have something to light our way as we go? As Christians, we’re lucky enough to have the best guide and the best set of directions in God’s Word. God has given us a tool to help illuminate our way. Spending time in His Word—reading the directions and instructions He has given us—can help us get to where we want to be. What does spending time with the Word look like for you? Is it devotions in the morning, reading a chapter or two during your lunch hour, or using a plan to help you read through the Bible over the course of a year? This week, schedule time to read your Bible daily. You may even want to create a journal to write down the thoughts that come to mind as you read!

About this Plan
No matter the destination you’re trying to reach, the journey to get there comes with twists and turns instead of a straight path. We often have to reroute. In this devotional we’ll dive into what it looks like to reroute and find a new map along the journey. We’ll see many examples of God working to fulfill the plans He created for us.
