Not Good To Be Alone

Have you ever felt alone? Have you ever thought, “Life has to be bigger than me and my life?” God never intended us to live alone or to be alone. From the beginning, He created Adam, and then God even said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make a helper fit for him.”

It is not good for man to be alone. Thoughts flood your mind when you are alone. The lies you begin to believe when you are alone. The secret sins that begin to define your life when you are alone.

You and I are better together. God has created other people for you to lead and other people to become your helpmate. Just take a few seconds and think about all the people that have influenced your life already. God created them to help you, encourage you, and inspire you. Take a few seconds and think about all the people that you have come alongside. You are living out God’s will for your life and are influencing those around you.

Jesus, help me see the community you have built around me. Help me live in community with others and help me encourage those around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
