Key People: Key People From The BibleSample
Joshua
Chapters 2 through 22 cover lots of battles between Israel and their enemies. Some of the battles go smoothly, and some don’t. Problems arise when the people forget to depend on God. Joshua is coming to the end of his life and reminding the people of their need to obey God. He also reminds them that God has kept His promises to the people. They are living in safety within the land God promised.
Hopefully you can look back on your life and see ways God has kept His promises as Joshua did. God’s greatest promise to us won’t be completed until later. For those who have trusted Jesus, we can look forward to eternity with God.
