Show Me Your Glory
And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Exodus 33:18
Moses' request was simple, yet profound. Moses had already seen the hand of God and accomplished many things. Moses had seen wonders and miracles. He even spoke to God face to face.
In Exodus 33, it’s clear that Moses was not satisfied with doing any part of His journey or assignment without God. He knew that God was the difference. God was the key to Moses' impact and influence up until that point. The emergence of God is what got Moses this far and if he desired to go further, he needed God with Him.
God is the difference in your life. If you desire to just be popular and to get a bunch of accolades, go alone. But if you want to go far and leave a legacy, move with God.
It’s time for God's daughters to not only be known for what they can do, but for the power they carry. That power is nurtured in God's presence. The confidence and boldness that you need to step out is found in His presence. It's in His presence that your identity is affirmed. It's in His presence that His love can destroy all fear. The clarity and direction that you need can be found in His presence.
Don’t become content with former glories because there is still more of God to encounter and know. As you experience the authentic presence of God, you will be empowered to emerge.
Prayer: Lord, show me your glory. Emerge in my life and empower me to show up with no limits.
