I love that God is fun! God is many things, and fun is one of them. God wants us to have fun and to enjoy parts of this life, even now in this broken world. God gives blessings and laughter, like the laughter and joy Sarah experienced when God blessed her with a child in Genesis chapter 21.

The wisdom in Proverbs tells us that cheerfulness is good for our souls and should be shared with others.

Today let’s focus on connecting through fun. Laughing and having fun are some of the best ways to draw close to your spouse.

I’m convinced that laughing connects people on a deep level. It’s one major way we build good memories together. Think about it: have you EVER had a friend that you DIDN’T ever laugh with? Probably not! Today's operation is to make your spouse laugh.

Here’s your challenge: Find a way to make your spouse laugh today. It can be as simple as finding a YouTube video you will make them laugh and showing them. You can search “funny YouTube videos” or put an extra word in there that is specific to your spouse. For instance, my husband loves cats so funny cat videos are always a hit with him.

Or you can search the Internet for jokes you know they will love, memes from their favorite TV show, or google “Funny Tweets.”
