Finding Freedom in Jesusනියැදිය

Freedom from your past
Things we did in the past, or things that have happened to us, can affect our present life. If we were hurt by people, we may have difficulty trusting again. If we failed in school and were told we were dumb, we may lack self-esteem. If we committed some crime, we may feel ashamed.
However, God offers us freedom from our past. He knows exactly what we have done wrong, but will cast our sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19). He remembers them no more once they have been forgiven. He will heal us and take away the shame of what happened. So, if we receive God’s forgiveness for any sin we’ve committed, we can be free from the sins of our past.
When it comes to injustice that other people have done to us and that keeps haunting us, God has given us the key of forgiveness. It is extremely hard to forgive those who have sinned against us, but if we do, this brings real freedom and deliverance for both sides...
Is there anything in your past that needs to be forgiven?

About this Plan

Jesus says: “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31-32). That sounds good, since freedom is something we are all looking for! This reading plan introduces twelve types of freedom that can all be found in Jesus.
