Worship at the WellSample
This story begins with David bringing the Ark of Covenant from Obed Edom’s house to Jerusalem, inviting the entire nation to worship before the manifest presence of God. It ended with David dancing wildly before God, exclaiming to his wife “I’ll be even more undignified than this.”
What happened in-between? A blood sacrifice was made every six steps.
Can you imagine seeing a sacrifice every 6 steps? What kind of profound truth would hit your heart concerning the sacrifice required for God’s manifest presence? That two-mile trail of blood foreshadowed Jesus’ blood shed for us, so we might enter into the holy of holies!
David understood two truths:
1. The manifest presence of God requires sacrifice.
2. Our sacrifice is not enough. We come into His presence “with” a sacrifice of praise…not “through” our sacrifice of praise. When that reality strikes our consciousness, our only proper response is radical worship!

About this Plan
As we journey together the next 50 days, we will experience what worshipping at the well looks like! God’s desire is for His body to be unified, with humble hearts, and authentic worship. Join us for the next 50 days as we are encouraged and equipped to re-dig the wells of worship and prepare for rain! We hope you are encouraged by this plan!
