DAY 2 OF 4

WHEN WE ARE UNITED WITH HIS SPIRIT

Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3.

Today, the world is full of sin, evil, and people making boasts about themselves. People no longer care about religion. There is a rise in the domination of discoveries and competition for power and influence. In their pride, man no longer looks at God, the creator of the universe, but makes himself and his intelligence a god.

God's focus is now on His church, His people, and every servant of God. Are we drawing near to God? Do we rely on God instead of our abilities? Many times the prophet Zechariah did not know the meaning and purpose of the visions he received. The Lord helped him understand them because it takes the Spirit of God to give insight into spiritual things. Our human minds are limited and unable to understand instructions from the Lord.

We might have failed and been close to defeat in life, but the Lord gives us a second chance. He comes to offer us His love and renew our strength in the Holy Spirit. Israel was indeed destroyed and almost forgotten by the nations, but the Lord can still restore everything. God came to renew this nation with His love, and that is why he gave Zechariah these revelations.

The power of God can deliver us from whatever bad things we have experienced and are experiencing right now if we call on Him. Our strength is limited because the Lord is our only strength. We can do things because of God's work through His Spirit and power from heaven. Let us now direct our hearts to God, go deeper into God's presence, and ask His Spirit to fill us.

We, who are limited, will become extraordinary people when we are one with His Infinite Spirit.
