Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample

Our eyes see the pandemic and the ensuing mess we are currently in, and we feel helpless at our inability to control it and God’s seeming inattention. BUT the truth is far removed from what we see humanly. There is a spiritual battle being waged at this moment. Our fight is not against the virus but against the spiritual forces of darkness that are perpetuating this. The enemy is huge – like Goliath. It may seem like an impossible battle with the odds stacked against us. But like David, we can declare, “ The battle is the Lord’s ” (1 Samuel 17:47). So let us be ready to do battle along with the Lord of Hosts. Let us stand our ground in prayer, standing in faith against all the forces of evil arrayed against us. May we stand strong with Christ for His victory. Pray for: • Strength and courage as we join this spiritual battle. • Our faith in the Lord to increase. • God to defeat the rulers of darkness that are inciting fear, panic, sickness, and death.
