Immanuel
Isaiah 7:14
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel."
God again gave His prophecy to the Prophet Isaiah. A boy would be born, and he would be called Immanuel.
The name Immanuel literally means, "The strong God is with you and me." In other words, God is always with us in every season of life, in both good and bad days and every single minute of you’re alive.
This prophecy was really fulfilled when seven hundred years after Isaiah spoke these words, a woman named Mary who was betrothed to marry a man named Joseph, had a visit from an angel. The angel told her that through her the Messiah would come. He is Jesus, our Immanuel.
This prophecy fulfillment is giving us affirmation, faith and hope, that our God is a promise-keeper. No matter how long it is going to take, once He promises something, He surely keeps it and makes it really happen. While waiting for the promises to be fulfilled, remember that He is always with us.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for giving me Jesus who is always with me in every single second of my life. I am never alone. Amen.
