Feeling Far Away From God?Sample

When you have drifted away from God, you can find yourself in a situation where there seems to be no solution to your problems. Your spiritual disconnection can lead to a social, familial and individual catastrophe. You can become so far removed from God that you can no longer readily identify what’s really gone wrong. When you fail to make the connection between the spiritual and the social, you will also seek the wrong solutions instead of those that can actually bring real and lasting impact. 

A failure to address the spiritual root of the struggles in your life will result in remaining in a valley of spiritual, emotional, relational or even vocational dryness, unable to rise up and make the changes that need to be made.

Yet in the midst of any problem, you can rest in God’s promise. In Ezekiel 37, God gave a promise to the Israelites that He would open the graves and bring life where death had once dominated. Last I checked, if you are dead and you come up out of a grave, that’s a supernatural arising. Thus, the good news you can find in this promise is that no matter how dry you are or how dry your situation may be, those dry bones can live again. If you are dry spiritually, your thirst can be quenched. If your marriage has been dried up for years, or even decades, it can thrive again. If your circumstances are dry or your career seems like a wasteland, you can rise up and prosper again.

If God can take a pile of dry bones and cause them to pulsate with life, how much more can He bring life to your dry situation? The question is never Can God do it? The question is always How badly do you want it?
