Daily Bible Reading–March 2021 God's Word of Prayerනියැදිය

March 13
Introduction
Those who survived the Babylonian invasion ask Jeremiah to pray for them. God’s response to Jeremiah’s prayer includes words of hope along with a warning.
Today’s Scripture Reading
Jeremiah 42:1-22
Today’s Key Verse: Jeremiah 42:3
“Pray that the LORD our God will show us the way we should go and what we should do.”
Reflect
What do the people promise (verse 6)? What does God promise if the people obey (verses 10-12)? What are the consequences of disobedience (verses 13-18)? What warning is given (verses 19-22)?
Pray
Sovereign God, your faithfulness endures for all time. Teach me to obey you and to do your will. Order my steps this day. I thank and praise you for your steadfast love. Amen.
Prayer Concern
Survivors of war
