SPRITUAL MATTERS

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:19)

The Lord Jesus taught us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that all our needs would be added. Thus the Apostle Paul stressed to the Philippians that they should put Christ first above anything or anyone that is on earth.

Beloved, remember that our spiritual growth is much more important than anything else. We cannot deny that during our life on earth we need money, food, clothes, a place to live and so on. Even Paul knew that in his ministry he needed operational costs, and he was very grateful for all the help of the congregation. Paul declared to the Philippians that God would fulfil all their needs according to His riches and glory.

But the most important thing in this life to achieve as our goal as believers is for us to be like Jesus Christ. The growth of faith and spirituality toward Christ is the most important thing. How can we achieve it? We need to set our priorities right. We must give priority to spiritual matters by building a relationship with Jesus. As long as we walk according to His will, we should not worry about anything in this life because we walk with our Saviour.

The reason there are people who fear and worry of living in this world is because they have no hope. Without the real hope of God, life becomes dark, life is without a future. But in Christ we have hope that we have a future.

Prioritize what really matters: your heart before God.
