4 Financial Lessons From Solomon (The Richest Man in History)Sample
Loving money is a dangerous thing, a very dangerous thing. Some people spend their entire life chasing more and more money. They think that money will bring them the satisfaction they were searching for. But, these same people never actually attain the satisfaction they were searching for. Why do you think that is?
True satisfaction only comes from God. It doesn’t come from getting married, obtaining that degree, a bigger house, a million dollars in the bank, or being retired. Nothing attained here on earth will bring us satisfaction. What we thirst for can only be found in God and God alone.
What is interesting is that when we take our focus off of getting more money and more things, then they seem to start appearing. When we focus on God and do His will, He provides. God will bless us in ways we may not see coming. And oftentimes God’s blessing may be bigger than what we were once chasing.
I want you to know that we are not guaranteed a blessing that we may think we deserve (or want). But, God knows our needs. And as a Christian, we believe that God works out everything for our good!
I encourage you to stop chasing what you think may satisfy you here on earth, and start looking toward heaven and place your focus on God.
