Qualities Of An "Unconventional" Business LeaderSample
Qualities Of An "Unconventional" Business Leader | 2. Excellence
In this seven-part study, we will reveal scriptures and stories that illustrate the seven key qualities of Unconventional LEADING. Yesterday we looked at “L” for love God. Today we will look at “E” for excellence.
The world often strives for perfection and personal glory, while an unconventional business leader strives for excellence and deflects glory to God. Let’s consider Larry’s story.
Larry ran a significant lawn service company that provided an excellent service to the community. Larry’s true motive was for God to receive the glory, but their customers didn’t know that.
Larry sought counsel, prayed and then worked with his staff on crafting a new mission statement to clearly state that pleasing God was their purpose. More of their customers now realize who really deserves the praise for the excellent service they receive!
1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
As an unconventional business leader, strive for excellence, not perfection, then willingly give God the glory for your excellent service.
