Do What You Want To Do 

Today, we’re going to tell you about the bravest prayer you could ever pray, and here’s the cool part — a kid who wasn’t much older than you was the first one to pray it! 

Are you ready? 

“Speak, Lord. I’m listening.” 

That’s it. That’s the bravest prayer you could ever pray. But, after you pray it, you have to be brave enough to listen and obey whatever God tells you! 

A boy named Samuel prayed that brave prayer, and as a result of his prayer and obedience, God used Samuel in a big way! But Samuel had to listen to God, even when what God was asking him to do felt super hard. 

We usually want to beg God to do things our way, but if you want to go on the greatest adventure ever, you’ve got to be willing to do things God’s way. 

God’s ways are powerful. That’s why we sing about things like the walls and giants He made fall. 

“Do What You Want To Do” is a song we should listen to every single day. Let the lyrics encourage you to do things God’s way!
