Sovereignty

God has the absolute right to do anything He pleases. That’s a frightening thought, isn’t it? We like to think of ourselves as in control; sometimes we even like to think that we are controlling God by adhering to a list of spiritual dos and don’ts.

But the Lord to whom we have entrusted our lives has the right and authority to take our health, our property, even our loved ones. The good news is that, no matter what, we can trust that His acts are motivated by His boundless love for us.
