SE Students - No Matter What - Part 1Sample
Have you ever been excluded or not invited to something you really wanted to be at? A hangout, a game, a party? It hurts, doesn’t it? Have you ever been excluded from something because of your faith? Not invited because they didn’t want to offend you? Left out because they were doing things that weren’t honoring God and they knew you loved God?
Sometimes our faith in Christ can leave us feeling isolated and lonely. It can be difficult when you feel like you are being treated differently because you are a Christian.
Jesus warned His disciples that they would be treated differently. This is not a reason to abandon following Jesus though. When we are treated differently or excluded, we can take steps closer to Jesus as our Savior and Friend. He is there for us when it feels like no one else is. We can also play a role in comforting and encouraging people in our lives who feel alone.
Who can you reach out to today that needs to be reminded that they are not alone?
About this Plan
