“Small Act, Big World”
It may feel like there are a lot of things that are wrong in the world. Every day we face things like lies, deceit, gossip, inappropriate conversation, and hurt. During his time on Earth Jesus faced these same things. However, He responded in a way that was different from the disciples and different from how we often react.
Jesus seized this opportunity by choosing to not just sit back. He saw that things weren’t right and chose to make a difference for the glory of His Father in heaven.
As Christians we are called to ask questions about the negative things we encounter every day. Jesus called himself “the light of the world” but He calls us the same thing today (Matthew 5:14-16). That means that we should ask questions but also pray about how God wants us to shine and make a difference wherever we are.
Pray
- Do you ever assume that others around you are in a bad situation because of their sin? Pray that God would allow you to see others with love and grace – as Jesus saw the blind man.
- Ask God to teach you what it means to be “the light of the world” in your day-to-day life.

About this Plan
Anytime a crash occurs everyone involved are impacted and many times forever changed. In the Gospels the same thing happens when people crash into the life of Jesus. Their lives are impacted by his teaching, healing, and love. We want to give you an opportunity for the next 30 days to have your life forever changed by crashing into the life of Jesus by checking out a new story from the Gospels each day.
