GLOBAL CRISIS PRAYERS – Praying for Everyone, EverywhereSample
Day 5. Pray for the World.
Pray for God to pour out His grace and mercy on a world in need—and all the more in times of global crisis.
Pray for a worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and thus a vibrant body of Christ being used of God to help people to know Christ and to make Him known.
Pray that revived believers reach out to others around them, helping meet their physical and spiritual needs during challenging times, as Jesus’ early followers did in early church times (see Acts 3:1-10), and that they would respond with His love, grace, compassion, and wisdom to social struggles—add to your prayer list specific needs in specific places that you are aware of.
Pray for the nations of the 10/40 Window, which extends from West Africa through the easternmost islands of Asia and is home to the world’s neediest people, least evangelized nations, and major world religions.
Keep the persecuted church in your prayers—it may be all-the-more persecuted in times of crisis.
Finally, pray for the advance of the gospel everywhere, as in Matthew 24:14.

About this Plan
While we’re called to pray at all times, we especially cry out to God in times of global crises—such as poverty, violence, disease. Yet how do we pray globally? How can we pray for everyone, everywhere? Over the next seven days, you'll find practical ways you can talk to God about people near and far, ensuring that “supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people” (1 Timothy 2:1-2).
