But how do you use God’s truth as a weapon to send fear running?
One way is to R.O.B. fear of its power! Here’s what that means:
R stands for Remember. When you’re afraid, spend a moment to remember a Bible verse, or something you know is true about God.
O stands for Open Your Mouth. Once you remember what God’s truth is, open your mouth to say it out loud as a prayer to God.
B stands for Battle It Out. Once you’ve said God’s truth, it’s time to fight! Battle it out by doing the thing fear’s trying to keep you from doing. If you need someone to help you, just ask.
But what if you get afraid of the same thing again? Don’t worry! R.O.B. fear of its power again, and again, and again. The more you do it, the weaker fear gets!
