The resurrection of Christ renews our minds. When we believe in Christ, He transforms our minds and continually reveals more of Himself to us. The wisdom and knowledge we have about His character grows the more we grow in our relationship with Him. This begins as soon as we place our faith in Him. 

Growing in our faith means our minds are continually being renewed by the Holy Spirit. As this occurs, we learn more and more about the hope we have in Christ, what we will receive as an eternal inheritance because of Christ, and the power and strength of God.

God’s great power can be seen throughout creation and throughout the lives of His people. The power He exercised when He raised Christ from the dead, seating Him in heaven and giving Him power over every authority and power, is far beyond comprehension. As God continues to renew our minds and make us more like Christ, may we pray the same words as Paul did, that He would give us spiritual wisdom and revelation in our growing knowledge of Him.

Lord God, I am forever in awe of Your great power. You raised Christ from the dead and then seated Him in heaven, over every power and authority. You alone are worthy of my praise and my devotion. Continue to give me spiritual wisdom and revelation as I grow in my relationship with You. Amen.
