What’s Buried Within The Soil Of Your Heart?Sample
As For Me And My House.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 KJV
Choose to serve the Lord. Don’t let the lords of the past rule the ground of your heart. Don’t let the idols of the past lord over your heart. Choose to let the old things die and embrace the new things of Christ. The choice is up to you. You can either serve Christ or you can choose to hold on to the bondage of the past.
What’s stored in your heart? What are you feeding the ground of your heart? Choose to feed yourself the living Word of God. Freedom is a choice. Deliverance is a choice. It’s your choice to embrace Christ or you can choose to stay stuck wandering in the bondage of the past.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Amorites were people who often dwelled in mountainous regions. What mountain or what obstacle is trying to lord you? What mountain or what obstacle is trying to crush you? What obstacle is trying to torment you?
When you are in Christ, no mountain can destroy you. When you are in Christ, no obstacle can block you and your family from having success. When you are in Christ, no Amorite or foul spirit can devour your harvest. Choose to surrender to God and let His Word fight your battles.
Mark 11:23 KJV declares, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Cast your mountain into the sea. Cast every obstacle that comes your way into the sea.
Say what God says about your situation. Say what God has declared in His Word over your circumstance. Don’t let the enemy contaminate the ground of your heart with his evil and cunning tactics. Choose to serve and surrender to the Lord. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Choose to serve Christ the King.
