Book of Isaiah Sample
I AM READY, PREPARE ME
God has a wonderful plan for everyone of us, His children, and He has a specific call for each of our lives today. But today, the problem is are we willing to fulfill His calling in our lives? God wants to use everyone of us as His instrument, but whether we want to be His instrument, a channel of His blessings in this life, all depends on us, not God .
Nowadays, for many of us, our answer is "wait". We reply "wait," because we feel we are not ready yet; we still have a lot of flaws, mistakes and even sins, or maybe we feel we do not have the capacity for our calling. Today, we will learn from Isaiah. When God calls Isaiah, he knows he is a sinner (Isaiah 6: 5-7) but Isaiah did not think that his sin was greater than the power of God. He knows that God has power to restore His life, is able to use his life, that is why he can say; "Here I am, send me" (Isaiah 6: 8).
Today God is not looking for the perfect person who has great ability and intelligence, but seeks the one who has humility, who is willing to be used by Him to be His instrument and His channel of blessing. God will give the capacity and ability to us, in increasing measure, after we learn to walk with Him. Today, let each of us learn to believe in God, and when the call comes we learn to say, "My Lord, I am ready. Prepare me".
God sees what is in our hearts more than He looks at our abilities.
