Day 9 – God directs our steps
Reflect
Peter went to the home of Cornelius on a word from God but was still unclear why he was there, and so he inquired: "May I ask why you sent for me?". Cornelius related the visitation of an angel and the words that he said. This served as a double confirmation to Peter that he was in the will of God. Peter's initial plan had been to travel from Jerusalem to Lydda and no further. Instead, he was called to Joppa and from there to Caesarea. This was not a coincidence.
Respond
Lord, my schedule is not my own. I might make plans, but my day is ultimately Yours to decide. Holy Spirit, please interrupt my plans anytime as You work out your great plan of salvation. Allow me the privilege of being the answer to someone's prayer.
