HOW?

Continuing with the story we read yesterday, it's important to note that the man isn't ashamed of his past. He doesn't deny that he was the man that begged on the street, even though this would've been a shameful thing to admit.

When people know about our past, we can't deny who we were - and we shouldn't. It only ADDS to our story. The BEFORE section of our life was obviously messed up because without Jesus, we're a mess. But then Jesus comes and He changes us, and AFTER we're a new creation. We can't be ashamed of our sin - if we had no sin (which of course would be a lie anyway), we couldn't even have been saved by Christ.

Our sin doesn't disqualify us from grace, it QUALIFIES US.
