Every single thing about you matters to God. Your body, your health, your emotional wellbeing, your relationships—it all is important to Him. Why? Because you are His precious creation. God made you, and He cares about you. Sometimes it feels like God only cares about what we do wrong or wants us to focus on what we can’t do, but what God really cares about is what’s best for us. That’s why He gives us instructions like the ones in this passage. Not to limit us, but to help protect and take care of every detail of our lives. Take a moment to pray that God would help you make decisions that honor every detail of who you are. Ask Him to remind you that you are loved and valuable to Him.
