The Great Surrender

DAY 5 OF 5

THERE IS ALWAYS MORE

And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”
Exodus 33:18 KJV

After God had assured Moses that His presence would be with Him and the children of Israel. Moses still wasn’t satisfied. It wasn’t enough for God to just lead Him to success (into the promise land). He wanted more of God, although he had many divine encounters with God.

Paul the apostle was the same way, despite His status and all that He had achieved. He considered it all rubbish compared to knowing God more intimately. Jesus being fully God and fully man, still withdrew Himself to connect with the Father. Even though He was in high demand.

Yes, God can use you and lead you on a path of success, but all of that doesn’t compare to knowing Him intimately. There is always something new to discover about God. He desires you to continuously gain a perspective of who you are in light of who He is. There is no point that you do not need Him.

Your pursuit doesn’t have to end here, it can continue. Everyday. That is a surrendered life, knowing that there is always more.

Prayer

Ask God to give you the grace to pursue Him and remain curious.

Day 4

About this Plan

The Great Surrender

We are called to live a surrendered life! When we surrender our all to God, we give Him the opportunity to transform us and reveal His good and perfect purpose for our lives. This plan will help you understand the importance of surrender.
