Many Nations 

How many nations from around the world can you name? List them on a piece of paper or in the notes section of your phone. Once you’ve thought of all you can, have an adult help you look up some more nations and add to your list.

So many nations, and I bet you didn’t even list all of them. These nations represent millions of people with different cultures, styles, traditions, and histories. 

But they all have one thing in common: they were designed to bring glory to God. That’s the ultimate goal of the church—to bring glory to God’s name in all the nations and tribes of the world. 

As we go about fulfilling the Great Commission, disciples from all nations will worship God. It starts here on earth and will continue one day in heaven with the most beautiful worship service ever. I can hardly wait!

Pick one of the nations from your list and, with an adult’s help, learn a little bit about their culture and history. Then make it a point to pray for God’s name to be glorified in that country. Along with praying for a nation, list a neighborhood or people group in your city. Pray that God would be glorified in that neighborhood or group.
