The Power Of His PromisesSample
What Does God Say about My Life’s Purpose?
God created you, and He knows what you were intended to be. Your spiritual life isn’t limited to certain devotional activities. It’s about being empowered to become the person He envisioned when He created you. What are you called and gifted to do? That’s where you’ll find your highest level of joy! Don’t leave this earth until you have found and fulfilled what God called you to do.
God has only one reason for filling you with His Spirit—to pour you out in service to others. You have been empowered for a purpose! Being in God’s will doesn’t exempt you from problems; but you can be “confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6). You don’t need all the answers; you only need to know you’ve fully obeyed the instructions God gave you. Once you know that, just drive, and let Him direct you!
We’ve only touched the surface of the many precious promises in God’s Word. As you grow in Christ, and learn to discern and obey His will for you, confidence will become increasingly evident in your personal life. Always remember this important truth: “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
