The Magnificence Of Christ In The Psalms

DAY 15 OF 30

The Royal Son

Dear Father, I rejoice that Christ is the true Royal Son. I love to think about how He is Your one and only divine Son, and the final earthly son (descendant and heir) in the line of King David and all the other Biblical patriarchs under Your eternal covenant with Abraham. I humbly praise Jesus, the royal Son of God and Son of Man. I exalt Christ that He is endowed with all the powers and attributes of You, His Royal Father, and that all things are possible with Him. I praise Him that His kingdom has no limits, and no end. All glory to Jesus that He will reign through all generations with perfect justice, righteousness, prosperity, defense of the afflicted, salvation of the needy, crushing of all oppressors, and endurance. I rejoice that His government and His rule bears much fruit.

I pray that You will rise up within me and the whole Church, a burning passion to know the vastness of the Royal Son, and to subject ourselves to Him without limit. In that spirit, I commit to a pledge to King Jesus that is similar to the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance: “I pledge my highest allegiance to the Royal Son, and to the kingdom which He rules, one Church under Him, with liberty and justice for all.” In His righteous name I pray these things.

About this Plan

The Magnificence Of Christ In The Psalms

Each daily devotional has a different name or attribute of God from the Psalms that is ultimately fulfilled in Christ. You will read the Psalm with Christ's name in it, then worship Him and pray for His Lordship of your life based upon His name of the day. Hopefully, this will help you know Christ more and love Him more. All Scripture used is from the NIV Bible.
