FAITH AND PATIENCE
Faith and patience go hand in hand in the life of a believer. God moves at His pace and we have to trust that He knows what is best for our family. When we get impatient and try to force our will, we can lose God's path for us and our kids.
That's not to say we should stop moving forward, sit by the side of the path, and just wait for God to move; no, He requires that we keep pursuing His path with diligence. But ours is an active dependence, constantly moving forward and yet content with wherever God's path leads us. We must have faith in the direction God is leading us, and patience that He knows just how to proceed.
Following God's path requires faith that He knows where we should go and patience that He knows how to lead us there.

About this Plan
The purpose of this devotional is to see what God's Word has to say about the parenting challenges every parent faces. Each day includes a passage of Scripture and an application of that passage to the trials and triumphs of leading families to maturity in Christ. The devotionals are created by Parenting by Design, a Fort Worth ministry devoted to teaching parents to lead their children the way God lead His children.
