Shifting Your Perceptions

As secure as we would like our plans to be, a continual reminder to ourselves must be that we have to shift our perceptions in this ever-changing world. However, never move from your values and principles and the finality of God’s Word. 

We need vision and focus to be aware of whether the current place we are in, or the people we are associating with, are taking us closer to or farther away from the vision set before us. Are our day-to-day activities and connections drawing us deeper in or are they detracting from our desired goal?

In your time of reflection, it is necessary to see circumstances with new eyes, from a different angle, adding to it your experiences which usually cause you to readjust your way of seeing things. Otherwise, the trap of routine will encourage you to keep doing what you have always done. Is it your time for a turnaround?

1. What are some of the fears that are lurking in your life? These are fears you need to conquer now, before they become too big to slay.

2. Remembering your why for doing something is a powerful weapon with which to slay your giant.

3. What activity do you need to reawaken or redeem to get you back on track? Remember, momentum breeds greater momentum. It is the moments that create the memories.

4. What is stopping you from reaching your mountaintop and enjoying the vista?

Our true success in life is dependent on the Lord being Lord of our lives at all times, through all seasons and at every turn. Do you believe that what you say has the power to create what you would like to have? Is it time to turn it around and start believing in the power God has put inside you?
