Speak Over MeSample
Jesus speaks life
Once in a while it’s good to be in a situation full of impossibilities. Just as God showed the prophet Ezequiel, when he took him to a valley of dry bones. Firstly, it is to recognize that we don’t have the power to change the situation. Secondly, is to understand that God is the only one who can change it.
When we comprehend our impotent and helpless condition, it will be easier to convert into the instrument that speaks on behalf of God, and not on our own human opinion. God is looking for people who depend on Him; people who will believe and obey Him. The only one who can return the breath of life to a situation is God, and He gives us the privilege to be part of those miracles when we die to self and allow Him to act.
God did not need us for the miracle. Yet, decided that through the work of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross, He would share His power with us. He did this so that we, the church, could be His hands and feet on Earth, and manifest Him before those who do not know Him; that they would see the Holy Spirit living in us and through our actions, see Him.
Through us, people will receive mercy, love, healing, and comfort. As children of God, we need to be the voice that shares the good news of Christ and live a different lifestyle that attracts people. People will want to know what it is that makes us different. The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to be light in darkness. He gives us wisdom to make decisions. Teaches us to be generous where there is greediness and righteous where there is corruption. There will be leaders in authority that need us, not to ask anything of them, but to share with them the wisdom of God that they don’t possess. God has given us authority in His name, so that we could speak on His behalf, and His Word produce breath of life in us and others, in any circumstances.
