Trusting God’s Covenant

Thank God that his covenant with us is everlasting: he will never stop doing good to us and he inspires us to turn to him.

A covenant binds people together in a lifelong commitment, giving each party a recognised claim on the other. God offers us a loving and intimate relationship, but he specifies the basis for that relationship: covenantal commitment.
