Don’t ever let your past hold you back from approaching God. One of my favorite things about Jesus is that He understands what it’s like to live with temptations, heartbreak, sadness and pain because He has experienced all of it Himself. I love that He can sympathize with what we go through, yet was without sin. Knowing this truth helps me to not only approach Jesus boldly and with confidence, but it also gives me hope that I can overcome temptations because He lives in me. Oh sweet friend, is there something in your life that is holding you back from approaching God? Please don’t let it! Realize that God loves you, desires a relationship with you, is able to understand your weaknesses! Remember, He sits on a throne of grace ready to extend mercy, forgiveness and grace to you today.
