Inspiring Reflections For The Christmas Season

DAY 2 OF 6

Christmas : A Season for Dreams - A Dream (Vision) of the Impossible

Two miracles happened around the time of Jesus’ birth. One began with the announcement of the pregnancy of Elizabeth (Luke 1:13), who was barren & old (Luke 1:7). The news came through an angelic visitation and it led to the birth of John. The other of course, was the miraculous birth of the Lord Jesus, also revealed through an angelic visitation (Luke 1:26-35)! In both instances, God did the impossible for “Nothing is impossible with God” (Luke 1:37)!

I was a chronic asthmatic from the age of 6 months and suffered greatly during my childhood and teen years. Although my parents tried every possible means to make me well, nothing worked. One day, at age 16, I encountered the love of Jesus and my life was changed forever. Not only did I experience His forgiveness and grace, but I also received healing for my asthma!

Are you in need of a miraculous touch from the Lord? If so, God can give you a ‘Dream of the impossible’ this Christmas Season! Didn’t He ask Abraham, faced with an impossible situation, the question, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14).Let's also not forget that the birth of the Lord Jesus was also a miraculous gift from God which would atone for the sins of the entire world. Not only was His birth a miracle, but so was His amazing resurrection, when He broke the power of sin and death forever!

THOUGHT - Can you believe for God to do the impossible in the situation you are battling? Can you, by faith, see the change Jesus can bring?

The day of miracles is not past, because the God of miracles is still present!

About this Plan

Inspiring Reflections For The Christmas Season

Christmas can be a difficult time for many people. Looking back over the year, they may see many dreams not fulfilled and many questions unanswered. Others face stress, loneliness and financial struggles. They can't seem to identify with the celebratory Christmas spirit around them that somehow seems to have eluded them. Their cry, echoed through the words of Country legend Merle Haggard may be, 'If we make it through December, everything is gonna be alright I know'. Over the next 6 days, these Christmas Reflections will inspire you to know that God waits to fulfill your dreams and answer your questions
