REboot: Starting OverSample
JOHN 20
As you read this chapter, you have an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus and become like Jesus.
1. Observe 3 things that will be important for your walk with Jesus. (especially in the three categories we talked about on Day 2, 3, 4)
HIS PRESENCE: Firstly, what are the amazing WORKS that Jesus does that reveals His tangible presence?
In this category, you could include miracles, signs and wonders, impossible things that is naturally not possible. Seeing His wonders and works leads us to believe in His name.
Do you seek Jesus to do these amazing works in your life today?
HIS PERSON: Secondly, what are the wonderful NAMES of Jesus that reveal who Jesus is?
The person of Jesus that points you to believe in Him and trust in Him. Believing in who Jesus is, draws you to commit yourself to His claims.
Do you believe in who Jesus says He is and what He claims to be today?
HIS PATHWAY: Thirdly, what are the COMMANDS of Jesus we are invited to follow that reveals eternal life in His name?
The pathway to follow Jesus is possible when we love Him passionately and faithfully obey His commands in our daily lives.
Do you desire to follow Him and faithfully obey His footsteps today?
2. Encourage you to share your observations with your friends in your groups and grow together.
Note: For the John 1-3 we have written down few sample examples. But we encourage you to write down your own observations and share with your friends. It's possible you will not observe all three things in this chapter, but based on what you observe, be eager to apply in your daily life and follow Him
