Have we forgotten the power of the "I" – not the iPad, iPhone, or iPod — but of the Great I AM? Jesus said, "I Am" – the bread of life; the light of the world; the door; the good shepherd; the resurrection and the life; the way, the truth, and the life; and the vine. We have many voices speaking into our lives through the media revolution than ever before.

Our generation and the generations to come will miss out on the voice of the Great I AM if we do not learn to be disciplined with our media intake. We no longer live in a day and age where women meet at the well to chat with other women. Now our family and friends are just a finger tap away. But before we open Facebook, we must go to the ultimate book, the Bible. Let's give God the first few minutes of our day.
