Bible Survey: Part FourSample
Today's chapter is the next step in the message of Jesus going to all nations. Until now, everyone who trusted in Jesus had been Jewish. They might have been from places outside Israel, but they were all either born Jewish or had converted to Judaism before trusting Jesus. As can be seen, Peter needed some convincing before he was willing to talk to a non-Jew (Gentile) about Jesus.
Are there people or a people group that it would take some convincing for us to talk to them about Jesus? If so, maybe today's reading will be what it takes.
