I'VE GOT THE BLUES: I FEEL LIKE A LOSER

Every day you are reminded that there are some very wealthy people on this earth. You see their vehicles whiz by. You see the huge buildings they own. You don't seem to have much by comparison. Every day people say and do things that make you feel worthless. Every day somebody makes you feel like a loser. Perhaps you call yourself a loser.

God happens to think that you are precious. Do you want to know just how valuable you are to God? Look what it cost Him to bring you out of hell into heaven: God's Son, Jesus, needed to come to our world to suffer and die a horrible death on the cross. But He was willing to do it all for you.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:9, "You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich."

God's grace to us is free – but it was a very expensive gift. Today would be a good day to thank Him.
