Ever struggled to be nice to someone who isn’t nice to you?
It can be so hard when we’ve been wronged or feeling hurt, to not slip into a place of bitterness or anger...and in your mind saying some choice words...never a good option!
Let’s be honest, emotions can be really hard when we’re feeling hurt.
The Bible is very clear about the best way to handle our thoughts and actions in times like these.
"If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you." -Romans 12:20
In the Bible in Romans 12:9: it says:
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
"Don’t be overcome with evil, overcome evil with good."
