It's Okay to Worry About Money (Here's What to Do Next)Sample

You know that knot in your stomach when you check your bank account? Or the 3 AM wake-up calls when bills flood your mind? Or the guilt or shame that follows because you feel like you should "trust God more"?
Here's what I want you to know today: It's okay.
You're not spiritually defective because money makes you anxious.
You're human.
Even Jesus acknowledged our need for daily bread when He taught us to pray. David wrote entire psalms pouring out his fears about enemies who threatened his livelihood. Paul expressed genuine concern about having enough resources for ministry.
The difference between godly people and others isn't that they never feel financial stress—it's what they do with that stress.
When Jesus said "don't worry" in Matthew 6, He wasn't dismissing your very real human needs. He was inviting you into a different way of processing those concerns.
Notice He didn't say "don't feel"—He said "don't worry," meaning don't let anxiety control your decisions or steal your peace.
Your financial anxiety isn't evidence of weak faith.
It's evidence that you're awake, aware, and responsible enough to care about providing for yourself and your family.
God isn't disappointed in you for feeling anxious about money. He's inviting you to bring those very real concerns directly to Him, just like David did, just like Jesus taught us to do when He said to ask for our daily bread.
Let's pray: Father, thank You that I don't have to pretend my financial concerns don't exist. You know my needs before I even speak them. Today I choose to bring my money worries to You instead of carrying them alone. Help me see that my humanity doesn't disqualify me from Your love or provision.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
