Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures, and the elders. In a loud voice, they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!”The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped. - Revelation 5:11-14 (NIV)

1. John’s vision of the glory and honour and praise due to Jesus - the lamb who was slain - is of a throng of angels too big to count singing out of the worthiness of Jesus.

2 .The picture of the worship of Jesus and God the Father is described as being pure light without any darkness. Their glory is such that there is no need for a sun (Revelation 22:4).

3. The gospel of Jesus Christ ends not with our salvation, but with the worship of king Jesus.

When you work in a place where Christian values are no longer respected, and Christianity is regarded as a threat to diversity and inclusion we often feel left with only two options: Activism or Keeping a low profile.

But we know that Jesus is King, and everything in creation is going to sing praises to Him and our God. However fearful the authority over us, however strident the opposition to anything of Christ, we know this - Jesus wins!
